Modi magic failed, less than 1% of votes in TIME Magazine’s Readers’ Poll. President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte has been ranked first in the list of 100 Most Influential Persons in Times Magazine’s Readers’ Poll, while there was no single vote in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Duterte received 5% of the toal votes in the poll which closed midnight on Sunday. Modi’s name was included in the annual list of most influential people as a potential candidate though no single vote was cast in his favor.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau received three percent votes. Pope Francis, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg also received three percent of the votes. While U.S. President Donald Trump received two percent of the vote. Other people included in the list are Russian President Vladimir Putin, singer Rihanna and actor Emma Stone.
The official TIME 100 list, which is selected by TIME’s editors, will be announced on April 20.
