Narendra Modi suggested people to go cashless by using their smartphone apps for money transfers. The rate of credit card cloning cases are on rise after the announcement of demonetization scheme kicked in.
The Delhi police have arrested a man on the charge of cheating several people of lakhs of rupees by cloning credit card and debit cards of different banks. Four credit cards, seven swiping machines, twenty-six cheque books and several PAN cards.
Difference between Real and Fake Swipe Machine:-
The police have started digging on the case after a complaint from the chief manager of Federal Bank was received. The complaint was filed after some of his customers had claimed that their credit card accounts had been misused. The investigation revealed that the swiping machines were registered to a company named Blue Waves Technology and with a registered office in Kalkaji. The police said that they had laid a trap for the criminal and he fell for it. The accused is identified as Arun Kumar aged 28, a resident of Mayur Vihar in East Delhi.
