Amit Shah is the president of Bharatiya Janata Party. He is one of the most corrupt leader of India.
He started his career in 1997 by becoming MLA from Sarkhej assembly seat. In 2003 he was Junior home minister under Narendra Modi. In the 2007 Assembly election, he won from Sarkhej again, improving his margin of victory. In 2010, CBI arrested him in Sohrabuddin case.
Amit Shah was accused in involving of killing Sohrabuddin. According to CBI, Sohrabuddin has been harassing marble dealers demanding hefty protection money. The marble dealers had paid Amit Shah to eliminate Sohrabuddin. Amit Shah planned a staged attack on Sohrabuddin with police officers DIG DG Vanzara and SP Rajkumar Pandian.
CBI again names Amit Shah in Prajapati murder case. In 2012, Supreme Court confirms Amit Shah’s bail on Sohrabuddin’s case. In the same year, he became an MLA of Naranpura, Ahmedabad. In 2013, he was made in-charge of BJP in UP. His name figures in Ishrat Jahan killing case.
His contribution towards the BJP party and his role as in-charge for UP state made him the President of BJP in 2014.
