Jharkhand Chief Minister & BJP Leader Raghubar Das Beated Up With Shoes

Recently Jharkhand CM visited Kharsawan to pay homage to tribal people martyrs at a memorial. People threw shoes and the sky was filled with black flags which were waved by the protestors.

Tribal people were protesting against the Raghubar Das government. The government’s decision to amend the Chotanagpur and Santhal Pargana tenancy acts. Around 300 locals in tribal outfits with traditional weapons were gathered at Sahid Sthal before the CM reached the place. The Chief Minister visited the place to pay a homage to the people who died in Police firing on January 1, 1948 in a protest.

The protestors were holding a banner of Adi Sanskriti Evm Vikas Sansthan closed the gate to prevent Das from entering the site. At the programme venue, they damaged chairs, threw shoes and raised a slogan of ‘Mukhyamantri Vapas Jao’. The protestors were led by JMM legislator Dashrath Gagrai, under his leadership the protestors stopped the CM at the gate.

BJP leader Barkunwar Gagrai demanded an action against the protestors for throwing shoes at CM, damaging chairs and for obstructing a government programme.
